Gilwa Consulting Inc. (GCI) and Impact Resolutions are excited to launch a new partnership together to collaborate with Indigenous peoples of western Canada.
“We are ecstatic to bring aboard a federally recognized, Indigenous-owned-and-operated (Haisla/Kitselas) consulting firm focused on relating Old World Indigenous knowledge and culture to current socio-economic and political trends,” said Pepita Elena McKee, principal of Impact Resolutions. “GCI will significantly bolster our ground-breaking approach to synthesizing engagement and data collection for impact assessments.”
GCI continues to work directly with communities to improve their overall visions of what realistic reconciliation means for Indigenous peoples of Canada, including by integrating the framework of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).
“This will be a brilliant fit for Indigenous groups and communities,” said Thomas Nyce, Lead Advisor for GCI. “We are impressed by Impact Resolutions’ diverse team of analysts, anthropologists, community liaisons, counsellors, facilitators, human environment researchers, negotiators and sociologists, and know that we can complement their experience in a broad range of industries, projects and sectors.”
