Rima is a Settlement Counsellor and Case Manager guided by 15+ years of trauma-informed practices and cultural competency. She has proven counselling experience with women and families through a cross-cultural, anti-oppression and feminist lens integrating art-based therapy. She has valuable experience working with non-profit and public sector organizations and has gained cultural competency from training with Indigenous mentors.
She has a wide array of areas of expertise including assessment & referral services, one-on-one counselling, workshop facilitation & delivery, project coordination & resource development, program development, management & delivery, and networking & community building.
