Dehong is a business and procurement specialist with 18 years of experience managing people and businesses in a variety of cultures and industries including massive purchasing, logistics, and sales in Canada, US and China. In 2002, Dehong began his career as a shift worker in a state-owned steel mill in China and within five years, was promoted to supply chain manager, responsible for a 2.4-billion RMB for the company. He is proud of his accomplishment for being the first supply chain manager in the company’s history to expand their business into Canada and the United States.

His diverse projects have included and is not limited to critical equipment research, analysis and management; development of procurement policies and procedures; First Nation impact agreement implementation; and, supply chain strategic planning and implementation.
