Introduction to Impact Resolutions Ltd.
Impact Resolutions Ltd. (IR) is a Buginese-Canadian, woman-owned and operated business that practices a unique synthesis of engagement and data collection for performance assurance standards, impact assessments, and diversity, equity, inclusivity, and belonging services. IR’s work is grounded in collaborative Indigenous partnerships and participation. Through joint exploration, IR leverages collective strength and efficiency to enhance project innovation, resilient outcomes, and adaptable strategies.
Since 2016, the IR team has supported the public and private sectors, Indigenous governments, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions on impactful projects, including regional water supply project engagement, social performance and environmental audits, reviews in partnership with regional impact assessment and management bodies, cumulative effects partnership management, and socioeconomic and labour market strategies. IR clients include:

A portion of IR profits is allocated towards co-creating, funding, and supporting IR member-driven passion projects that are in-kind contributions to community-driven initiatives in Canada, Mexico, Lebanon, Türkiye, and Pakistan.
IR applies an Indigenous lens to audiences with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds, covering a range of subject matter and technical expertise. As part of this approach, IR embraces the findings and conclusions from the ‘Calls to Action’ and ‘Calls for Justice’ presented in these final reports: Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada and Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples, Missing Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
As an approved ESG assessment body for Equitable Origin TM100, IR has certified numerous operators to promote transparency, boost demand for certified natural gas, and stand out through responsible energy production. IR’s certification process includes document reviews, interviews, site visits, investigations, and issuing a certification report with a continuous improvement plan.
The IR team has supported ESG certifications for ARC Resources, Hammerhead Resources, Pacific Canbriam, Pipestone Energy, and Vermilion Energy in Canada. In the United States, certifications for Chesapeake, EQT, Equinor, and NNE.
