Roxanne is an Indigenous Person of the Metis Nation Alberta Region 3 with 20+ years of experience working with Indigenous communities and industry, focusing in the areas of surface rights acquisition, stakeholder engagement, event planning, conflict resolution, issue identification, social investment, supply chain initiatives, mitigation and documentation compliance.

 

Roxanne has demonstrated ability in effective communication, collaboration, and relationship building and maintenance with Indigenous peoples and communities, supported by a strong ability to identify, create and implement policies and procedures that enhances relationships. She possesses the strong ability to facilitate planning with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, resolve conflicts, mediate and negotiate.

Fun fact

Roxanne is an avid gardener and canner. She grows and cans all of her fruits for jams and jellies, and horseradish for pickles. She also enjoys spending time on the road on her Harley.
